India is officially the Republic of India. India is the country in the south Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by the area, with over the 1.2 billion people in the country it is the second most populous country and with the most populous democracy in the world. It is bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, on the south-west Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal on the south-east. It also shares the land borders with the Pakistan to the west, Nepal, China and the Bhutan to the north east and the Burma and Bangladesh to the east. In the Indian Ocean, India is the vicinity of the Sri Lanka and Maldives. In addition to it, India's Andaman and Nicobar Islands share a maritime border with Thailand and Indonesia.
Home to ancient Indus Valley Civilisation mostly in the present day in Pakistan and the region of the historic trade routes and the vast empires, the Indian subcontinent was the identified with the commercials and the Cultural wealth for the much of its long history. The four world religions- Buddhism, Jainism, Hinduism and the Sikhism are originated here where as the Zoroastrianism, Christianity, Islam and Judaism arrived in the first millennium CE and also helped to shape the region’s diverse culture. Gradually append by and brought under the administration of the British East India Company from early 18th century. India became an independent nation in the year 1947 after the struggle for independence that was marked by the non-violent resistance which is led by Mahatma Gandhi.

The Indian economy is the world’s 10th-largest by the nominal GDP and the third-largest by the purchasing power parity (PPP). Following the market based on the economic reforms in 1991. India became the newly industrialised country. However, it still continues to face the challenges of the Poverty, malnutrition, inadequate public health care, corruption and the terrorism. The nuclear weapons state and the regional power, it has the 3rd largest standing army in the world and the ranks 9th in the military expenditure among the nations. It is also home to a diversity of wildlife in a variety of protected habitats.

1. Tamil Nadu :


Tamil Nadu is “The Land of Tamils or the Tamil Country” is one of the 29 states of the India. It’s Capital is Chennai formerly also known as the Madras, the largest city. Tamil Nadu lies in southernmost part of the Indian Peninsula and it is bordered by the Union territory of the Pondicherry  and the states of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala. Tamil Nadu is bounded by the Eastern Ghats on the North by Nilgiri, the Anamalai Hills and the Kerala on the west by the Indian Ocean on the south. 2. Kerala


Kerala often known as Keralam. It is the state in the south west region of India on the Malabar Coast. It was formed on the November 1 1956 as per the states Reorganisation Act by combining the various Malayalam speaking region. Kerala is bordered by the Karnataka to the north and the north east, Tamil Nadu to the east and the south and Lakshadweep Sea to west. Kerala is divided into 14 districts with the state capital being the Thiruvanthapuram. Malayalam is most widely spoken and the official language of the state.

3. Maharashtra 


Maharashtra is the India's richest state; Maharashtra is the second most urbanised state.
Maharashtra is the state in the western region of the India and is the nations and it is also world’s second-most populous sub nation state. It has over 110 million inhabitants and its capital, Mumbai, has the population of approximately 15.2 million. It is also the financial capital of the nation and headquarters of all the financial institution, major banks and the insurance companies in the country. Hindi film Industry of India, Bollywood and Marathi film and the television industry also located in this state. People from the other state migrate heavily to this state because of the opportunities available in here including the Gujarathi’s though the Gujarat also became the developed state recently. 4. Rajasthan


Rajasthan is the “Land of Kings” or “Land of Kingdoms”. Rajasthan is the India’s largest state by the area. Rajasthan is located on the western side of the country and in the Thar Desert also known as the “Rajasthan Desert” or the “Great Indian Desert” and it also shares the border with the Pakistan along the Sutlej-Indus river valley.  It is also bordered by the Indian states of Gujarat to the south west, Madhya Pradesh to the south east, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to the north east and Punjab to the north. 5. Punjab 


Punjab is the state is the northwest of the Republic of India, forming the part of the larger Punjab region. Punjab is bordered by the Indian states of the Himanchal Pradesh to east, Haryana to south and southeast, Rajasthan to southwest and Pakistani province of the Punjab to the west. To the North side it is bounded by the Indian state of the Jammu and Kashmir. State capital is located in the Chandigarh, Union Territory and also the capital of the neighbouring state of Haryana.
